Convicts, Jaguars, Jack Dempseys can all be pretty nasty.

If you mean non-Rift Lake species from Africa, it would probably be the Jewel Cichilds (Hemmichromis species). These get absolutely nasty, especially when breeding.
If you mean non-Rift Lake species from anywhere in the world, along with Ian’s three above, the entire genus Parachromis (including Ian’s Jaguar Cichild) would probably be the most aggressive. Texas Cichilds (Herichthys carpintis) and Vieja species are also up there in the ranking.
