i am getting my 55 gal. tomarrow and seting it up what fish should i get i have an oscar and a golden severum female i am thinking of getting 2-3 more golden severums. i wana know what what U think. only cichlids and no african cichlids either i like mean tough fish

erm…just so you know, oscars and severums are pretty peaceful.
Africans would most likely beat them up.
EDIT: no…oscars are still pretty low on the agression thing. People mistake the begging for food as a display of agression.
If you want a true agressive cichlid, look into getting a much larger tank, and a dovii.

You could try a jack dempsey or a firemouth plus another severum.

you really need to rethink your priorities…
as far as the fish go a 55 is too small for even 1 oscar.. a fish that get’s 16 inches shouldn’t be kept in a tank 12” wide.. as for the severums only 1 can go into a 55, you could maybe get a few larger more peacfeul fish like giant danios or tiger barbs, but the tank is pretty full with 1 severum…
i think you need to learn alot more about proper husbandry..
