i have three jackdempseys and im about to buy some more cichlids, they are very territorial, if i get more cichlids in the tank would like their mind set of havin territory b gone?
i was also thinking about gettin the parrot head, would be okay with them?

Americans will always have territories, so i would advise moving a few things around in the tank just before you add something new.The only way to disturb there territories,is to do it yourself by messing the territories up.
Too be honest you would be better off with african cichlids specially mbuna, they don’t mind sharing and they do not make territories of their own.

Well, Demseys are aggressive and they get very big, mine are about 11 inches and they are 2 years old, they fight a lot and it also depends on the size of your tank?
