put some rosy red minnows and some goldfish for them to chase around. if they catch them they will eat them. also give them hikari cichlid gold but always overfeed them and feed some cooked shrimp and stuff them with hikari cichlid gold.

They ARE!!! Cichlids are vicious little eating machines! Like you say, they still LOOK hungry; but that’s just their nature, always on the prowl… or, I guess, on the…swim…?…

just try to feed them a varied food like
algae flakes
cichlid flakes
cichlid pellets
they love those
try to feed them twice a day, as much as they will eat in under 5 minutes
