What kind of fruits or vegetables can I feed my fish for vitamin C?

Poseidon wants to know: I have mostly African Cichlids. I know you can give them oranges, lettuce, and cucumbers, but they are all messy. What else can I give them that will provide vitamin c and wont be messy?
