What do i need to breed convict cichlids?

Tunish305 wants to know: I have a 29 gallon tank. Should i just get 2 fish a male and a female? How many hinding places do i need? Do i need plastic or live plants? Do i need a heater? What should the temperature be? Thanks in advance i know its a lot of question.
