question for you african cichlid experts (malawi mbuna)?

ok so i just set up a 46 gal tank with 3 electric yellows, 2 red zebras and 2 acei - i want to put in just one more species and i like the afra cobue and i think they are compadable not sure though so can you help me out any suggestions???

    Not a matter of compatible, as I was saying before, you already have one very high aggressive in the Red Zebra’s, and as they mature, you’re going to run into problems with a 46 bow. It’s just not enough space, plus right now, you don’t know how many are male, and that’s what the real problem is at this point. If these turn out to be mostly male, there’s going to be some fights, and odds are, those Red Zebra’s, if male, are going to take over that tank.

    Personally, I am not a fan of Red Zebra’s, but if you like them, you might want to consider getting them their own tank, and keep the lesser aggressive Labs and Acei’s in the 46. You MIGHT be able to add some cobue’s but I’d wait until your first group matures first.
