Long long does an African Cichlid (Mbuna) take to fully grow?

Andrew wants to know:

Assuming the cichlid is average will grow to about 4 or 5 inches.
My tank is only 30 gallons, and i have two electric yellow cichlids, two blue johanni and one other mbuna that i dont know the species of. They are all also just under two inches.

There is not correct answer to this question. This all depends how many water changes you make. What kind of food you are feeding them and how often. Of course in a larger tank they will grow faster.

Keeping all those factors in mind you will see good growth. Roughly 2 inches a year.
