I have 1 blue african cichlid male, 1 yellow african female, and 3 spotted catfish. I was thinking of adding 2 female yellow cichlids 1 black ghost knifefish, and if possible probably not though an eel and please tell what kind of an eel if possible.

What size tank do you have? Thats what it all boils down to^^

Color doesn’t tell any one the species names…and that tells what you can add.
Spotted Catfish?…If Syno,OK.If not…they are not right for an African Rift Lake tank.
Black Ghost Knife…NO.
It is a South American fish with different water requirements.It also likes a little peace and quite (something you don’t get in an ARLC tank)
There’s no way to jack the water parameters around to make all the different fish happy.
